Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Between sometime on Wednesday 14 and 12.21pm on Saturday 17 January in Mansfield Road, Skegby, Sutton in Ashfield the front door of a property was smashed to gain entry and a very messy search made. A Lenovo laptop computer was stolen. Burglary Other At 4.18pm on Monday 12 January at The Forest Tavern, Forest Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a purse was stolen from behind the bar by a white male, mid to late 20’s, stocky build, wearing a royal blue coat and a grey woollen hat. At 2.00am on Sunday 18 January in Outram Street, Sutton in Ashfield, four males knocked the bottom panel out of a door to gain entry into the old Wilko’s Store. Between 7.30pm on Sunday 18 and 5.15am on Monday 19 January at the Lammas Leisure Centre, Lammas Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a window was smashed to gain entry. A charity box was smashed and the money stolen, a toy grabbing machine was damaged and money it contained stolen, and money was taken from a pop corn machine. Personal property was also taken from a staff room. Theft of motor vehicle Between 1.40pm and 2.30pm on Mondayn19 January at Kings Mill Hospital, Mansfield Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a red Peugeot 107 car was stolen from a car park. Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft Nothing to report Criminal Damage Between 4.30pm and 4.45pm on Friday 16 January in Harwood Close, Sutton in Ashfield, a male passenger in a Blue Nissan car alighted and booted bollards protecting the parking bays of ‘Pawsome Vets’. Described as aged late 20’s to early 30’s, skinny build with short spiky brown hair. Between 4.00pm on Sunday 18 and 9.00am on Monday 19 January in the Idlewells Centre, Sutton in Ashfield, the front door window of the ‘Cardfactory ‘ store was smashed. Between 12.30am and 12.50am on Monday 19 January at McDonald’s Restaurant, Priestsic Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a door window was smashed by a white male, age 20’s, wearing a black jacket with the hood up. ASB At 11.52pm on Thursday 15 January at the Castlewood Service Station, Farmwell Lane, Sutton in Ashfield, three ‘boy racers’ were blocking the fuel pumps and refusing to move and threatening a member of staff. The cars involved were a grey Volkswagen Golf, a blue Volkswagen Golf and a dark grey BMW with distinctive red headlights and no front number plate.
